Junior Anglers
Howth Sea Angling Club
has always been to the fore in promoting Junior Angling. In 1992 Paul Farley
representing the Howth Sea Angling Club, was a member of the Junior Irish Team,
fishing the World Shore Championships in France.
In 1995 Howth was
represented by Patrick Doyle in the World Junior Championships in Croatia.
2003 sees Sean O'Dea (below sporting his new international jacket) representing the club as captain of the Irish Under 16 Shore Angling team which fishes the world championships in Bridlington, which is situated on the east coast of England, on April 18th to 21st..
HOWTH JUNIOR ANGLER SEAN O'DEA
The club has its own Junior liaison officer who looks after the safety and welfare of the juniors. At present Ray Connolly is looking after Junior Anglers and can be contacted at 8326567. Advice on fishing and training on boat handling will be given to all Juniors.
Junior age limit is twelve to sixteen years of age.
